Char Dham Yatra is a holy pilgrimage journey which includes the most important religious sites of the devotees of Hindu religion, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Since this journey is a strenuous one, there is now an option of Char Dham Yatra by Helicopter that is a meticulously planned voyage.
It is best to choose a package online. Most of the packages are inclusive of accommodation on a twin-sharing basis and also offer sumptuous meals too. Helicopter services are provided for all the 4 sites from Kharsali, Harsil, Phata and Govindakund.
You will also get the benefit of VIP darshans and sightseeing via A/C coach. You must take note that if there is any natural hazard, curfew, technical problems etc. during your trip then you will have to bear the extra cost.
Itinerary Details:
Day 01: Dehradun - Yamunotri - Gangotri
Welcome to the first day of Char Dham pilgrimage. By 6.00 a.m. in the morning, board helicopter from Dehradun and fly down to Kharsali. Upon arrival in Kharsali, take pony ride to Yamunotri. It will take you around 4-5 hours to visit Yamunotri temple and return back Kharsali.
By 1.00 PM, take helicopter ride to Harsil. On arrival in Harsil, hit the road to Gangotri (1 hour). On reaching Gangotri, perform ceremonial Pooja and aarti on the banks of holy river Ganges followed by lunch. Later return back to Harsil. Stay overnight in Harsil camp.
Day 02: Kedarnath - Badrinath
By 6.00 am in the morning of the second day of your Char Dham Yatra, board helicopter and fly down to Kedarnath for darshan. By 7.00 am, you will arrive at Phata followed by helicopter visit to Kedarnath. On reaching Kedarnath, visit the temple and partake in pooja and abhishek ceremony of Lord Kedareshwar. Later return back to Phata.
On reaching Phata, have your breakfast followed by helicopter ride to Badrinath. On arrival in Badrinath, check in at hotel Sarovar. Take a refreshing bath and proceed to Badrinath temple to pay reverence to Lord Badrinath. Post darshan, return back to the hotel for lunch.
In the evening, proceed on a local sightseeing tour of Badrinath. Post sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Badrinath - Dehradun
Early morning on the 3rd day of your pilgrimage tour, set out to visit Badrinath temple and partake in ceremonial pooja of Lord Badrinath. After darshan and pooja, return back to your hotel for breakfast followed by departure for Dehradun.
While on Char Dham Yatra by helicopter, you
must carry few necessary things such as medicines, woolen clothes, a
torch, an online copy of the necessary documents, some munchies and so
on. Also keep the doctor’s certificate intact. But it is very important
that you must pack light so that your own burden is lessened.
