Dates for Top 5 Holy Yatra in India

Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand, Kailash Manasarovar Yatra, Amaranth Yatra, Puri Ratha Yatra, Pandharpur Palkhi Yatra these all 5 holy Yatras  is celebrated every year in India.

These Yatra are going to begin this year 2014, Here is the information about all these Yatras.  News, dates and other details of these Holy journeys.

1. Char Dham Yatra Uttarakhand :

Chardham yatra in Uttarakhand is a circuit of four abode including Gangotri "the abode of Goddess Ganga", yamunotri "the abode of goddess Yamuna", Badrinath "the abode of lord Vishnu" and Kedarnath "the abode of lord Shiva".

Dates of Opening :
Gangotri Temple will open from 3 May, 2014.
Yamunotri Temple will open from 3 May, 2014.
Kedarnath Temple will open from 4th May, 2014.
Badrinath Temple will open from 5th May, 2014.

2. Kailash Manasarovar Yatra :

Dates and Details :
This holy Yatra is scheduled to begin from 8th June 2014 and will be fag end on 9th September 2014.The total number of batches for this yatra will be 18 including 60 pilgrims in each batch.

Age Limit :
Age Limit below 65 years old for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2014.

3. Amaranth Yatra :

Dates :
Starting date 28th June 2014 to 10th August2014.
Age limit :
Children below 13 years and persons above 75 years not eligible to undertake

4. Ratha Yatra


Dates :
The yatra will begin on 29th June 2014, Sunday.
Venue :
Jagannath Temple, Puri, Orissa, India


5. Pandharpur Palkhi Yatra : 


Dates :
Pandharpur Yatra Palki of Tukaram Maharaj from Dehu, Pune will begin on 19th June 2014 and Sant Dnyaneshwar Palkhi yatra will begin on 20th June 2014 from Alandi.
Venue :
Valhe gaon near Jejuri, Maharasthra

All dates are fixed but the dates could be changed due to weather and other conditional changes. State government and also government of India  have full authority and they can take decisions in order to changes in dates.
